National Knowledge Center for Renewable Energy

The National Renewable Energy Knowledge Center has created two tools: “State of the Place” and “Collection,” to better manage the decarbonization of territories through renewable energies.

For a quick and easy-to-read overview of the state of renewable energy at the national level. It provides, at various scales: installed capacity, actual production, and number of production sites.
To enable continuous data collection and thus gain a more detailed view including location, project progress, installation characteristics, grid connection status, and more.

The “State of the Places” tool allows users to visualize, in map form at the municipal IRIS, the energy generators installed at the inter-municipal, departmental, and regional levels.
Improving the management and monitoring of territorial issues in public renewable energy policies

The “Enr-Collecte” tool aims to: – Centralize knowledge of the renewable energy sector within a single database shared between decentralized government departments and the Ministry’s Central Administration. – Enable the widespread dissemination of public data.
Facilitating comparison between territories

The “State of the Places” tool allows users to monitor renewable energy production at the territorial level and provides an overview of the achievement of the SRADDET objectives. It facilitates the creation of regional energy overviews by providing ready-to-use statistical and cartographic visualizations. Facilitate decision-making to guide energy strategies at the territorial level
The “State of Play” tool helps inform local elected officials as part of the strategies developed within the Recovery and Ecological Transition Contracts between the State, the Region, and the territories (support for ecological indicators of the impact of actions undertaken, support for decision-making).

The National Renewable Energy Knowledge Hub
The National Renewable Energy Knowledge Hub is led by the DREAL Grand Est with the support of the Directorate General for Energy and Climate and under the coordination of the General Commission for Sustainable Development (CGDD).

The National Renewable Energy Knowledge Hub’s mission is to support the development of renewable energy, notably through the creation of decision-making tools based on renewable energy data. In practice
