Greencityzen deploys its solutions for the UN

Camp-Bidibidi

Greencityzen, a Marseille-based startup, is deploying its water supply management solutions for refugee camps on behalf of the UN. This large-scale deployment will involve the water supply of 15 camps hosting nearly 2 million refugees in Uganda and Ethiopia.

Greencityzen is ensuring the deployment of the radio infrastructure, a network of sensors, and a platform that continuously reports on available water stocks and actual deliveries. This UNHCR “wash monitoring” project, the first of its kind in the world, is intended to be replicated in all emergency situations requiring mobile water supply infrastructure. The Bidibidi camp is emblematic because it is the largest refugee camp in the world and will be the first to be equipped in the coming weeks.Read the Greencityzen press release
