First international contract for Wever!

Wever, a startup dedicated to improving mobility, founded in 2015 in Sophia Antipolis, the largest and leading technology park in France and Europe. This startup, whose goal is to support businesses, local authorities, and event organizers with an action plan focused on individual mobility needs, won the Moka Mobility Challenge this summer and was tasked by Moka Smart City with developing a mobility plan.

Wever’s mission is to provide residents of this Mauritian city with a better quality of life by making transportation, traffic, and parking easier; particularly by redefining the mobility offerings for their commute. Thanks to their mobility management platform, Wever will initially collect essential data to accurately analyze user behavior in order to best meet their needs. The idea is to continually adjust the solutions offered to residents based on their behavior in the urban space. According to Sarah Boulanger, Business Development Manager at Moka Smart City, this personalized mobility strategy is a real asset for the city. For Thomas Côte, CEO of Wever,

“the startup’s ambition is to expand this collaborative mobility solution, to unite users around socially and ethically relevant mobility solutions.”

This new type of digital platform will likely become a benchmark model in the coming years for better understanding the issues and challenges of user travel within a given area, placing an environmental approach at the heart of its solutions.
