On Thursday, September 19, 2019, GREEN INNOV 65, the 1st Southwest Eco-Business Forum, took place at the VEOLIA Campus in Tarbes (Hautes-Pyrénées). This event was organized by BIC CRESCENDO and La FRENCH TECH HAUTES-PYRÉNÉES in collaboration with the National Eco-Business Network PEXE. The seven Green Tech sectors were represented: Energy Conversion, Management and Storage; Water; Circular Economy and Waste Recovery; Building Energy Efficiency; Renewable Energy; Mobility; and Digital Services Applied to the Energy Transition. The day featured roundtable discussions, B2B meetings, private-public booths, project progress reports, and startup pitches. This event mobilized 11 financial partners (ALSTOM – AMBITION PYRENEES – CACG – DAHER – EDF “A River, a Territory” – ENEDIS – GRDF – KEOLIS – SDE 65 – TEREGA – VEOLIA) who contributed to the success of this first edition.
This first edition was a success. Of the 214 participants:
94 people (43.95%) were from the business world (including three-quarters from Green Tech)44 people (20.56%) from the public sector (local authorities – government services – chambers of commerce – political representatives – others) 35 people (16.35%) from the world of entrepreneurial support and research(various support structures, research laboratories, technology platforms, competitiveness clusters) 23 people (10.74%) from the academic world(initial training structures, students) 11 people (5.14%) from the financial and investment world4 people (1.86%) from international structures 3 people (1.40%) from other backgrounds.
The Secretary General of the Prefect represented the GreenTech initiative of the Ministry of Ecological and Inclusive Transition, notably announcing the Calls for expressions of interest in GreenTech relaunched in September 2019. For those who
