GreenTech Challenge

GreenTech Challenge connects the best green startups with leading consultants and investors. All this through intensive four-day growth programs spread across Europe. For each program, GreenTech Challenge carefully selects startups based on several factors, such as their environmental impact, team strength, scalability of the business model, and current traction.

From June 17 to 19, 2019, GreenTech Challenge and its partners, including the Ministry of Ecological and Inclusive Transition, provided coaching to the 10 participating startups.

On June 20, 2019, the 10 startups selected for the Greentech Challenge, including five startups with the Greentech Verte label, presented their projects to an audience of investors and major European companies.

The startup

MPower , which is developing a solution to facilitate access to electricity in developing countries, was elected by the public. During the Greentech Challenge, the Ministry awarded a Favorite Prize to Heatzy

, which distributes thermal regulation solutions in homes that combine both energy efficiency and affordable cost. Heatzy ensures wide distribution and therefore a strong positive impact on the ecological and inclusive transition. During this Greentech Challenge, the public prize of theGreentech Meet’Up

was awarded to the startup BeeLife for its connected hive CoCoon, which treats Varroa mites with a purely biological weapon: heat (patent pending), and helps bees live longer, harvest more honey, and live in a healthy environment. You can watch videos of the speeches by our startupsSedipec
