Last Tuesday, the latest edition of the GreenTech Meet’Up was held at Station F. Startups, ministers, major corporations, partner schools, journalists, and other stakeholders in the ecological transition were present for the event. Brune Poirson, Secretary of State to the Minister of State, Minister for the Ecological and Inclusive Transition, opened the event by speaking with several startups and giving a speech. We welcomed several keynote speakers who spoke on topics related to the ecological transition, such as Frédéric Mazzella, founder of BlaBlaCar. Thomas Lesueur and Virginie Schwarz discussed the topic of the first roundtable, “The State: Accelerator of Innovation Serving the Ecological Transition.” Then, Florence Jasmin, Fabrice Boissier, Anne-Marie Perez, and Eric Philippon joined forces for a second roundtable, entitled “Supporting the Growth of Green Technologies.”François de Rugy, Minister of State and Minister for the Ecological and Inclusive Transition, joined the Meet’Up to interact with several GreenTech startups. On the Open Platform side, the audience was able to discover a community of over 200 startups committed to the ecological transition. The Meet’Up was also an opportunity to present “favorite” awards to investors and journalists, as well as a check for €10,000 from Eric Philippon, President of FAMAE. The public and the startups were very satisfied with the event which concluded with a speech by Emmanuelle Wargon, Secretary of State to the Minister of State, Minister of the Ecological and Inclusive Transition, who insisted on the fact that we are here to provide solutions to make the ecological transition concrete!
