Smart Futures is currently raising funds to complete its R&D and accelerate its distribution. The fundraising, currently underway, represents €850,000 in capital. The startup is still seeking shareholders interested in civic tech and clean tech.

Smart Futures won the Innovation Trophy at the Salon des Maires, which it participated in from November 19th to 21st.

In addition, the startup deployed the beta version of the Fingal Voices app in Ireland in October. The team traveled there for the Smart Dublin forum and provided the final report on the study. The objective of this innovative project is to give a voice to citizens who are usually overlooked in participatory governance processes, particularly disadvantaged groups, foreigners, or those who do not speak the national language.

In addition to testing the app for the first time, Smart Futures is not stopping there and is launching the MM2020 initiative. It is a comparison tool for electoral platforms for municipal elections and a collaborative approach aimed at bringing citizens and candidates together to enable them to exchange views and co-develop their platforms.
