VUF develops its activities in Alexandria with Transdev

Winners of the “Innovative Solutions for Sustainable Cities in Africa” ​​call for projects, supported by Transdev and receiving approximately €500,000 in funding from the Private Sector Study and Assistance Fund (FASEP), VUF is expanding its activities in Alexandria, Egypt, to reduce traffic congestion and air pollution by integrating new “green” public transportation solutions adapted to the city’s challenges.

The project is structured around two bicycle experiments:

  • The provision of electrically assisted utility bicycles to local businesses and the technical services of the city of Alexandria for all urban work.
  • The provision of bicycles and bicycle taxis near tourist areas.

To accelerate its international development, VUF is raising funds.
