Bio Stratège is launching the Guyane Immunité collection to ensure that the people of Guyana have access to high-quality local medicinal plants that respect biodiversity and local producers. This initiative aims to encourage the general public’s use of local medicinal plants in response to the coronavirus epidemic. This project would strengthen the use of these plants in a safer and more preventative manner in epidemic situations.
The goal is to offer a selection of local medicinal plants throughout Guyana, with the creation of an educational book explaining the traditional properties of the plants, as well as their chemical and biological properties, recognized and certified by science.
Mariana Royer, founder of Bio Stratège, aims to demonstrate that there are alternatives to defend against viruses such as COVID-19 using plants.
