The “Companies Committed to Nature” initiative aims to mobilize French companies in favor of biodiversity, to generate concrete commitments, and to ensure the gradual rise of the issue within companies, as part of a progressive approach.
It is aimed at all companies, regardless of their size or sector of activity, whether they have long integrated this issue into their strategy or are just getting started.
This initiative was developed with business networks (including MEDEF, AFEP, and Entreprises pour l’Environnement), environmental associations, and scientific and institutional partners. It is part of the Biodiversity Plan presented by the government in July 2018.
Companies commit by signing 10 common principles and then have one year to formulate an action plan using an online form.
