The Greentech Living-lab was inaugurated on Monday, June 19th. This residential space for innovative and sustainable businesses is run by the Ecolab of the General Commission for Sustainable Development, in partnership with the Paris Est Marne & Bois Territorial Public Establishment (which brings together 13 municipalities). These eco-businesses aim to develop their solutions and enter into contracts within the Paris region to locally stimulate responsible purchasing and accelerate ecological transitions. This inauguration was marked by: A site visit to the Greentech innovation companies incubated at the Living-lab, with demonstrations of the proposed solutions; The traditional ribbon cutting in the presence of Diane Simiu

Many thanks to the teams at Paris Est Marne&Bois who, alongside the Ministry, are running the Greentech Living Lab: Frédérique Marquet, Murielle BOUTEILLE, Sandra de Sousa, Dan Taïeb, Léa Sourribes, Florence Nana. We would like to thank Diane Simiu, Deputy Commissioner General for Sustainable Development, for her opening speech, which illustrated the challenges of public policy in terms of innovation and contracting with businesses. “For you, as a community in the PEMB area, but also across the Paris region, this Living Lab is the ideal opportunity to get up close and personal with innovative and sustainable solutions that are sometimes difficult to find, to challenge them, question them, “contract with” them, and work together. The Greentech Living Lab is an accelerator of the ecological transition in the regions, through experimentation and public and private procurement of innovative and sustainable solutions incubated here.” Inauguration of the Greentech Living Lab👏 And finally, a big thank you to the elected officials, project leaders, and partners present at the inauguration!
