Innovation to accelerate public policies for ecological transition

The Greentech Innovation label was created in 2016 and has since certified 170 projects promoting the ecological transition.

This thesis aims to analyze the effectiveness of the label in implementing public policies for the ecological transition. To address this issue, this thesis will begin by establishing the specific characteristics of a label, then the major public policies for the ecological transition, before assessing the relevance of the projects to these policies and finally analyzing the potential environmental impact that certain companies could have if their innovation were to develop significantly.

This thesis was written as part of my final thesis for the Master’s in Sustainable Management and Eco-Innovation, following my internship at Ecolab and the startup and nudge team of the Ministry of Ecological Transition.
