The Ecolab of the General Commission for Sustainable Development will be present at the Mayors and Local Authorities Exhibition from November 22 to 24, 2022 (Porte de Versailles). During these three days, it will host twelve Greentech Innovation award-winning companies at its booth and present its various programs to assist local authorities in their ecological transitions by stimulating sustainable and innovative public procurement.
Better capitalizing on innovations
Within the village of the Ecology Energy Territories ministerial hub, the General Commission for Sustainable Development will have a booth to present solutions and tools to meet the purchasing needs of local authorities and accelerate ecological transitions, through two of its agencies: the Ecolab and the Green Counter. To stimulate the ecological transition in local areas, Ecolab, the ministerial hub’s innovation laboratory, has developed several tools:
Greentech Innovation
- , an initiative acting as a trusted third party for local authorities, selecting and supporting innovative companies for the ecological transition;My Greentech Services

Green Desk was created as part of the National Plan for Sustainable Procurement 2022-2025 (PNAD 2022–2025). In practice, green desks are being developed throughout France, providing public buyers with contact details for local facilitators to support the integration of environmental clauses into public procurement. 12 innovative companies in the fields of ecological and energy transitions
Concrete solutions to the needs of communities will be presented at the booth: 12 winning Greentech Innovation companies will showcase their innovations in renewable energy, sustainable construction, urban logistics, sustainable mobility, waste and water management, soil remediation, and more over the three days.

It is a diagnostic tool for planning actions and scenarios to be adopted for commercial buildings, enabling long-term monitoring and thus determining whether energy savings targets will be achieved. - On Tuesday, November 22, from 10:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., four of these companies will be able to pitch their solutions and their previous “public contracts won” to the show’s visitors. Speeches to foster debate and discussion around sustainable public procurement
- On November 24, from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., a presentation of the various Ecolab departments (Greentech Innovation and Data/AI) will take place in the Low-Carbon Territories Lab Space (Hall 3). Afterwards, from 2:45 p.m. to 3:15 p.m., in the Resilient Territories Lab Space (Hall 4), a Greentech Innovation company and a local authority will share their experiences in concluding their public procurement contract.
