Opening of the new Living-Lab Greentech in Orléans!
The Ecolab – Greentech Innovation of the General Commission for Sustainable Development has signed this new partnership with Agreen Lab’o and the Metropolis of Orléans. This new partnership was signed at the Viva Technology fair on May 22, 2024. Located in the heart of the Centre-Val de Loire region, this new space for innovation and experimentation is dedicated to companies, start-ups, and project leaders engaged in the ecological and energy transition.
The Living-Lab Greentech of Orléans aims to promote collaboration among local ecosystem players, providing them with resources and tools to accelerate the development of innovative and sustainable solutions.

A second Living-Lab Greentech to welcome innovative companies

Thanks to its network of academic, institutional, and economic partners, the Living-Lab Greentech of Orléans offers personalized support to project leaders, from ideation to market entry.
The Living-Lab Greentech is also a place for meetings and exchanges, where innovation actors can come together to share their experiences, knowledge, and skills.

An establishment at the heart of a strong scientific ecosystem

Opened in October 2021, Agreen Lab’O is located on the Xavier Beulin campus, covering an area of approximately 1,500m2. Initially focused on AgriTech, it is now more broadly focused on Greentech. Agreen Lab’O is an incubator/accelerator that hosts and supports innovative and sustainable companies.

Agreen Lab’O is in close proximity to academic actors and the research community such as CNRS, the Orléans university pole, and geoscience research actors (headquarters of BRGM, INRAe, …).
Several scientific cluster branches are also present at Agreen Lab’O: the Agreen Tech Valley cluster, a branch of the Polymeris competitiveness cluster, and a branch of the CARA competitiveness cluster on mobility.

Agreen Lab’O offers on 3 floors a varied accommodation offering with: 24 offices / 4 areas / A coworking space / Meeting rooms / A showroom / A small workshop.
