Management of subscriptions to the newsletter

Purposes

The purpose of the processing is to manage the sending of the newsletter. It enables Ecolab to:

  • manage subscriptions;
  • develop statistics related to the service via an “invisible pixel”.

Legal basis for processing (article 6 of the GDPR)

This personal data processing falls under the public interest mission entrusted to Ecolab. It only concerns individuals who wish to register to receive the Ecolab’s newsletter.

Processed data

  • email addresses;
  • statistics related to the newsletter service.

This data is obtained from the registration, by the person wishing to receive the newsletter, of their email in the dedicated field of the newsletter registration form.

Recipients

The recipients of this data are the authorized agents of the Communication Department as well as its subcontractors.

Retention period

Ecolab retains the email address as long as the person concerned does not unsubscribe (via the unsubscribe link included in each newsletter).

You can access your data, have it rectified, or have it erased. You also have the right to limit and oppose the processing.

Contact form

Purposes

The purpose of the processing is to collect users’ requests and route them to the competent instructing service within the ministerial department in the context of the right to electronic petitioning to the administration.

Legal basis for processing (article 6 of the GDPR)

This personal data processing falls within the public interest mission entrusted to Ecolab. The processing is indeed necessary for compliance with the Code of Relations between the Public and the Administration (articles L112-8 to L112-10) to which Ecolab is subject.

Processed data

  • first name and last name of the requester;
  • email addresses to verify the accuracy of the address and for communication;
  • postal addresses if the selected response method is by post;
  • telephone number if the selected response method is by phone;
  • content of the petition.

Recipients

The instructing services of the central administration of the ministerial department are the recipients of this data. The data is directly sent to the email inbox declared by the competent service based on the theme chosen by the requester.

Retention period

The exchanged messages are retained for their useful life for the administration under the regulations regarding archives.

These audience measurement cookies are anonymous and intended for our own use. The following data is used for processing and retained for 25 months:

Raw data:

  • IP address (anonymized at the last octet)
  • Cookie ID/ Mobile ID
  • Digital Analytics data related to the identifiers below.

Processed data:

  • Visitor ID (pseudonymized identifier created by the Subcontractor from the cookie ID and mobile ID) not accessible to the Data Controller for the site(s)/application(s) for which the purchaser activates the exempt tagging under the CNIL deliberation 2020-091 in the solution;
  • Audience measurement data related to the following identifiers: IP address/Cookie ID/ Mobile ID (pages visited, click name…).

The forms present on the site, including the contact form, require the presence of the session cookie “phpsessid” to ensure their proper functioning.
