Demand Side Instruments raises €3.6 million to expand its operations

Demand Side Instruments, a startup founded in Caen in 2013 and specializing in the research and development of innovative decision-making solutions for the management and preservation of natural resources, has announced a €3.6 million fundraising round that will enable the company to expand its growth.With revenue already reaching €1.5 million in 2018, this company, which employs around twenty people, will further expand its international reach thanks to this new capital.

The startup’s ambition is to accelerate its deployment in order to cover as many regions as possible with technologies designed to preserve natural resources.

Frédéric Villain, founder of Demand Side Instruments, aims to develop a concept that harnesses technology to address new issues and challenges in both urban and rural areas. This fundraising will allow the start-up to highlight the importance of innovative technologies in leading us towards a sustainable energy transition in every sense of the term.
