Start-up/public authorities exchange meeting on the theme of data and mobility

Start-up_Commissaire

On Wednesday, December 9th, a discussion meeting on the topic of data and mobility was held with three Greentech Innovation-certified startups and the MOV’EO competitiveness cluster. This meeting was co-organized by Thomas Lesueur, the Commissioner General for Sustainable Development, and the Directorate General for Infrastructure, Transport and the Sea. The Directorate General for Enterprise and the Interministerial Directorate for Public Transformation were also present. The startups 1km à Pied, represented by Laure Wagner, The Treep, represented by Laurent La Rocca, and Wever, represented by Thomas Côte, had the opportunity to present their service offerings and the challenges of using transportation data. 1km à pied is a platform that aims to implement a relevant and customized mobility plan. The platform allows for the diagnosis of commuting journeys based on HR records. This work is carried out using algorithms that process each employee’s file on a case-by-case basis to offer them the most optimal mobility solution. The Treep is an eco-responsible digital booking service that allows you to compare different combinations of transportation modes for a business trip based on the duration, cost, comfort, and carbon footprint of each option. This service is powered by an algorithm that combines several modes of transportation. The traveler compares, combines, and books trains, planes, taxis, and the metro. They can compare the total duration, total budget, and, most importantly, the total carbon footprint of door-to-door journeys. With a human-centric approach, Wevergives individuals a voice so they can express their mobility needs. Wever thus carries out Corporate Mobility Plans (CMPs) or Inter-Company Mobility Plans (IPMPs), territorial assessments, mobility surveys, and helps implement new, more inclusive and tailored mobility solutions. Wever offers each user transportation solutions tailored to them, taking into account existing or feasible solutions, the profiles and awareness levels of individuals, and the actual characteristics of their journeys. The Mobility and Automotive R&D Competitiveness Cluster MOV’EO

mobilizes and supports startup innovation: new means of transportation (such as K_Ryole), the use of new energies (hydrogen, etc.). It promotes linkages between business support and the experimentation of startup innovations. The Interministerial Directorate for Public Transformation and praised the work carried out by the startups: in-depth, context-specific diagnostics, as well as experiments. All of these steps are useful for developing behavioral building blocks that can advance mobility. Each of these startups had the opportunity to present their solution in detail and receive answers to their questions. Claire Baritaud, Director of the Interministerial Digital and Territorial Mission at the DGITM, emphasized that startups in this field were necessary to provide new solutions in the ecological transition. Currently, companies that previously didn’t consider mobility issues at all are now asking themselves the question and trying to implement sustainable mobility packages. You can find the video of this exchange on the GreenTech Innovation YouTube channel, and below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NPO32ijZ1UY
