Hello, can you introduce yourself?
I’m Romain Bouiller, the founder and CEO of Trizzy, a social and solidarity economy startup (ESUS accredited) committed to the environment and society. It offers the first one-stop shop dedicated to waste to support communities and users in their efforts to achieve the circular economy and reduce their waste.
For those who don’t know you, can you explain how your service offering directly aligns with the Ministry’s public policies?
Trizzy’s ambition is to have a triple positive impact on the regions we support:
- waste reduction
- promoting local initiatives and new uses of the circular economy
- preserving social ties
These are precisely strategic issues for the Ministry of Ecological Transition. To achieve this, with Trizzy, we approach the subject of waste in an innovative, fun, and effective way to “make waste sexy” so that people finally take an interest in it! Trizzy is also a reuse marketplace available to local authorities via our platform. This powerful tool allows local authorities to discover local, regional, or national reuse solutions, and share them with residents through their Trizzy.
What have been your recent successes in implementing your project?
There’s been a lot of news at Trizzy! In addition to deploying the solution in numerous regions, we’ve just been awarded the ADEME call for projects for Companies Engaged in the Ecological Transition, as part of the Recovery Plan. As such, we’ve received a €100,000 grant to support our growth and new innovation projects to further reduce waste!
