This tool was designed for and with public buyers to identify innovative solutions in support of ecological transition, energy transition, and the resilience of territories. These challenges are broken down into 12 themes in the directory:

Words from Thomas Lesueur, Former Commissioner General for Sustainable Development
The law n° 2021-1104 of August 22, 2021 aimed at combating climate change and strengthening resilience to its effects represents a major advancement in reinforcing public procurement as a lever for ecological and solidarity transition in our economy. Within 5 years, all public contracts must include an environmental clause, whereby an offer may be judged against a competing offer. The same will apply to concessions, outside the defense and security sectors.
The project for the National Plan for Sustainable Procurement 2021-2025 (PNAD), led by the General Commission for Sustainable Development, will serve as the roadmap to meet this requirement for more sustainable public procurement.
This Plan thus aims to specify the objectives and organize the action plan for socially and ecologically responsible purchasing as well as to unite all stakeholders involved in purchasing. It particularly aims to facilitate access to an inclusive and environmental offer for buyers.
In this spirit, the directory of innovative solutions lists about a hundred start-ups and SMEs that offer green innovation solutions certified Greentech Innovation by the Ministry of Ecological Transition. This tool was designed for and with public buyers to help them identify innovative solutions in support of ecological transition.
This directory is one of our actions to increase the visibility of Greentech Innovation companies. With this same goal, meetings between public order givers and start-ups are regularly organized, and two experimental sites around public procurement have been launched: the Living Lab of Saint-Mandé and that of Orléans Métropole.
